During the school holidays,my cousin and I spent two nights and three days on Pulau Hawa.It was almost noon when we arrived on the island.
Upon our arrival,we were taken by a hotel coach to the Golden Hotel.We checked into the hotel and then went to a cafe for lunch.After lunch,we took a stroll in in the area around the hotel.Then,we went swimming in the sea and later looked for crabs on the beautiful sandy beaches.Next,we went exploring in a nearby village.We saw a few fishermen mending their nets under the shade of some trees.It seemed to me that the villagers led rather quiet lives but they looked happy.Our next stop was a small forest reserve on our way back to the hotel in the evening.There we saw a lot of monkeys among the trees.
The next morning,we visited a cultural village.We enjoyed watching the dancers perform various traditional dances in beautiful costumes.We took photographs with them after the show.The campsite near an enchanting waterfall was our next stop.We swam and played at the waterfall for a while before we proceeded to the orchid farm.Our visit to the farm was very interesting as the place was filled with many species of orchids,some of them quite rare.
After our visit to the orchid farm,we had delicious seafood for lunch.Then it was back to the hotel.That night we were entertained by songs and dances performed by the hotel staff.
In the morning of the third day,we left Pulau Hawa with fond memories of its natural beauty and the fresh seafood that it offered.
